NFNJ elects new executive committee

KATHMANDU: The second national conference of National Forum of Newa Journalists (NFNJ) elected its new central executive committee in Kirtipur last night.
The new committee members elected include president Shree Krishna Maharjan; vice-presidents Tika R Pradhan, Uden NhuSayami, Suraj Bir Bajracharya, Nripendra Lal Shrestha and Mira Rajbhandari; general secretary Sunil Maharjan, secretary KK Manandhar and treasurer Surendra Bhakta Shrestha.
Elected central members are Jamuna Shrestha (Koshi), Bigen Tuladhar (Kathmandu Valley), Jivan Shrestha (Bagmati), Yubaraj Shrestha (Gandaki), Sandip Shrestha (Narayani), Sharmila Shrestha (Mahakali), Rachana Shrestha, Hasana Lawaju, Prerana Laxmi Shakya, Jitendra Shrestha, Bhaikaji Maharjan, Najarman Maharjan, Prajwol Shrestha and Nabin Joshi.
The election was conducted by a three-member election committee that included Pushkar Bhakta Mathema, Ujjwal Sukla and Suresh Kiran Manandhar.
